PHILIPSBURG – The Sint Maarten Police Force (KPSM), in collaboration with the Customs Department and the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee (KMar), successfully destroyed a large quantity of confiscated narcotics and other illegal items on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
The destruction operation, closely monitored by representatives from the Prosecutor’s Office and the Courthouse, involved items seized during various law enforcement operations by KPSM, Customs, and other agencies. The contraband was safely incinerated at a secure location.
The process was carried out efficiently and without any incidents, with all agencies ensuring the procedure adhered to legal and procedural guidelines.
KPSM and its partners reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding Sint Maarten’s residents by continuing to combat illegal activities that pose risks to the community.
