Olympic 100m champion Julien Alfred beaten in Zurich by Sha’Carri Richardson
ZURICH-World champion Sha’Carri Richardson got her revenge by defeating Olympic champion Julien Alfred in the women’s 100m at the Zurich Diamond League.
The American, who took silver at the Paris Olympics, finished 10.84 seconds ahead of Alfred, who clocked 10.88 seconds. Dina Asher-Smith was third in 10.89 seconds.
The Saint Lucia sprinter beat Richardson in Paris and was competing in her first race since bagging gold.
